2 trapped Window Washers just rescued from bldg on 57th/8th ave. Yikes!

57th is still blocked off, and 8th above 54th st. What a scene. I happened to be shopping at TJ MAXX, across the st. when this drama started. Good work FDNY! (I had to walk all the way home) - rush hour is gonna be bedlam. Good luck people.

This was one of the most exciting rescues I've seen on tv. I saw that the men were pretty secure, but still- I was so impatient for them to be rescued.

I cheered when they finally went in through the window!

UGH - thanks for the warning. I'll walk to the Port Authority a different direction to avoid that area.
