Had the day off yesterday, and was watching the afternoon coverage. Was doing some chores around the house, and the news came on NBC. "Big day for Men's gymnastics! Spoilers ahead if you want to avoid results!"

WTF?! I assumed the US men did well with that headline and changed the channel! Hating NBC...still loving the olympics.

Although they had some flaws on the balance beam and the uneven bars I thought the women's gymnastics team did a very good job. Also congrats to Michael Phelps on becoming the Olympian with the most medals.

Very happy for Gabby Douglas. I'm so happy that she got the individual all-around gold.

Like the NBC news reporter said there will never be another Michael Phelps. He still has a relay tomorrow, but tonight was the last individual event in his Olympic career. I'm glad that he got the Gold.

NBC must be doing something right because the ratings are through the roof.

I just returned from London, where the games are brilliantly organized, the Olympic spirit is present at every turn, and the world has truly come together is peace to participate in this great global tradition.

Now that I'm back, I'm looking forward to watching the coverage of the rest of the Games.

It's been a wonderful Summer Olympics so far!

Welcome back, Addy! Unfortunately NBC's coverage of the men's gymnastics competition sucked big time. All negative comments (including mine) posted to their Facebook page were deleted. Believe me, there were a lot of them. For example, events were shown out of order. Once John Orozco did poorly on the pommel horse, they neglected to show anything else he did. They only showed 2 of his 6 routines in the men's all-around. They hardly showed any of the other contenders. I will admit their coverage of the women's team was excellent though.

<----- Exhausted after watching the USA-Canada women's soccer semi-final. That was an incredible game. Sadly, for Canadians, it ended with a 4-3 victory for the US with literally seconds left in extra time.
