21 [The Movie]

I saw the movie 21 last night and I really enjoyed it.
It's about a group of MIT students who along with their professor count cards in Vegas to make money, but for the lead character of Ben [Jim Sturgess of Across The Universe and The Other Boleyn Girl] is trying to raise money for Harvard Medicial School. Along the way he gets lost in the glitz and the glamour of counting cards and what money can bring, which brings him closer to the girl of his dreams [Kate Bosworth], puts him at odds with his mentor [Kevin Spacey] and catches the eye of a nearly out of his job casino security worker [Laurence Fishburn] while leaving his old friends and life behind. The movie is fast [to an extend] and has some wonderfully glitzy scenes. I really enjoyed it, but at some points it felt like it dragged a bit.

Overall, I really did like it.
And Jim is seriously a star on the rise.
He's in like every other movie that has been out this year.

I need to see this movie so bad. It looks awesome in general, plus, you know, Jim Sturgess is basically my #1 love right now

SNL- I really really enjoyed it.
Its got such a good story and the acting is great
The pace drags a bit, but overall. Loved it.

I can't wait to see this! I think I'm gonna go within the next couple of days.
Anything that has to do with Jim Sturgess, I'm there.

Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey are great, and the supporting cast isn't so bad, either. You have to turn off your brain to logic in some parts...but if you can do that, it's a good popcorn flick.

I just saw this last night and really enjoyed it. I had very low expectations, but it was actually a pretty good movie. It's a B+/A-, imo. I agree that Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey were both great in it.

I really enjoyed the movie and agree with RentHead, I'd give it a B+ or A-.
It was a great popcorn film.
And how much good product placement did Planet Hollywood Casino get? Geeze.

I'm excited to see this movie. They filmed at my school last year for a few weeks, and I saw Kate Bosworth filming in our fitness center and ran into Kevin Spacey on the street.

Looks like an interesting movie.

I saw it over the weekend as well. I really enjoyed it, and agree that Jim Sturgess (he was fab) and Kevin Spacey were awesome. The supporintg cast was really good too. It's a great story. Highly recommended.

No nudity, alas. But it is a cool movie. I went to a free screening because they filmed part of it at my school. One of my friends was pissed because in the book apparently all the characters are Asian, but in the movie the main players and the prof are white.

I went into the movie not really sure what to was expect and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Jim Sturgess is absolutely fantastic, and Kevin Spacey is just wonderful.

Laurence Fishburne scares the crap outta me.

I enjoyed it, though I though there would be a lot more action when I first saw the trailer. All in all, though, it was enjoyable. And the guy who plays Ben? Cute!
