This is Bull !
A heifer and cow are female. Yet the article refers to it as "he". That is, a bull or steer.
If the author doesn't know that much, how can the rest of the article be trusted?

First Mad Cow Disease, now this:
If it is a cow, where is the udder?
If it is a bull, bullock or steer, where are the horns and penis?
Answer: Photoshop,
or bullsh(insert vowel of choice here)t

:) Well the article does call it a bullock. Also, while it's perhaps no real excuse for a news article, informally "cow" can refer to "a domestic bovine of either sex and any age."

Does no one else think those pics are obviously fake? Or are they so obviously fake that no one needs to comment on them?

It looks like a photoshop picture to me, too, but here's a video. The story ran with a live interview (with the owner, not the cow)on the Today Show. His name is Chili - gotta love it.
That's a lot of chili...

Cattle really shouldn't graze that close to a nuclear power plant.

Chevstriss , you are right about the word "heifer" referring to a young female.
A "swede" is a "Rutabaga" in English (I should say British English)
I can't open the video because it is on Micro$oft and I have a Mac. Never trust Micro$oft, they tried to kill Blu-ray.
Whether or not there is a 6'6 transsexual cow, that article is one of the worst I have recently read, but then I don't generally read the tabloids.

Are you sure that this cow grew up in England and not on a farm near Chernobyl?

I never saw a six foot cow
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one!
