Well today was a huge day in my life...I got a dog.
Ever since I was a little kid, I have been scared to death of dogs. When I saw one on the street , I would have to walk to the opposite side. I could never go in a house with a dog, I wouldn't go in unless it was in the backyard. I would cry when it would come near me. Recently I started going to Dog Therapy to help me deal with my phobia. They told me the best way to overcome it is to get a dog. Today I got a ****zu, it is one years old and cute as could be.
I just thought I would share that with you.

Well.
We have a family friend who had three dogs because their mother in law gave them one after she moved into a retirement home about a two months ago. So they have been looking to give it to someone, and they gave it to us!
We haven't decided on a name yet. The original name is Sunshine (which I hate)

I just got a new dog yesterday
Her name is Penny, and is a 2 year-old Collie
Yay for getting dogs!

My absolute favorite dogs! I have a fear of big dogs too, or threatening-seeming medium-sized ones, for that matter.
But the little ones are great, and shihtzus are so much fun. I used to take care of three of them.

Then there's me, who's been bitten by dogs not once, not twice, but three separate times in my life, and I'll still go up to strange dogs and try to pet them. (I guess I'll never learn! hehehe)

An 80 pound female boxer? I have a male boxer and his vet says he is overweight and he's 78 lbs.
