It's the company's fault for floating bigger and more popular names for the role for ages and ages before finally settling down and picking someone. Let the fanfolk speculate and get their hearts set on a candidate for that long, and they're bound to be pissed when someone else gets picked.
I really liked Craig in Munich, wrong accent and all, so I think it's a bit of a shame he's chained to the spy franchise now.

Connery's always been my favorite because I always thought he was extremely sexy without being 'pretty'. This guy looks the same way to me. I have no problem believing he's a secret agent. Moore and Brosnan always looked more like male models to me.
