"California's Megan's Law provides the public with certain information on the whereabouts of sex offenders so that members of our local communities may protect themselves and their children. Megan's Law is named after seven-year-old Megan Kanka, a New Jersey girl who was raped and killed by a known child molester who had moved across the street from the family without their knowledge. In the wake of the tragedy, the Kankas sought to have local communities warned about sex offenders in the area. All states now have a form of Megan's Law."

Jose has organized this as Jose; not as a representative of BWW. And Boobs and Dollypop have done something similar in the past. It's a lot of work, a lot of aggrivation, and not a lot of thank yous get passed along. Luxia...a place at which I am very comfortable, may NOT be to everyone's liking, but it's an opportunity to get together and talk in person...or for others, m to come and make fun. Whatever.
My point is that anyone can take the initiative to organize something informal like this. Seriously, you might want to consider planning something similar at Vintage (on another date) if you think that would be more to the younger contingent's liking.

Posted: 3/8/05 at 1:16amAt the most there are one or two steps down outside from the sidewalk to the little patio in front (and it's possible there aren't any at all, I just can't remember)...but it's nothing one of us can't help you negotiate. Of more concern is the size of the bathrooms...one is a little bigger than the other, but basically, one is small and the other is REALLY small.
