Posted: 8/1/04 at 8:18pmI dont understand why they changed it so much. I think the show would translate perfectly onto film. I was almost unable to watch this movie. The only part I liked was the first song with all the people auditioning.

One of the biggest mistakes "What I Did For Love" turned into a sex ballad.
Also notice that you never actually see Audrey Landers dance.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I love it for the fact that Vicki's in it, and when I was younger (when it came out) I would dance around the house pretending I was Sheila....
However, if you look at in comparison to the show, it's an awful movie.
I will admit to owning two copies of the VHS (one autographed lmao) and a copy of the DVD though.
