That couldn't have been Corine, could it?

I watch the trailer and it seems very slap-sticky to me. I can't imagine sitting through a Christmas Carol that seems to think Scrooge getting smacked in the crotch with icicles is the worst thing that could happen to him.

Is this the one with Stockard Channing and Timothy Hutton?

Not any more Phyllis, not any more.
I hear they are being replaced by Betty Buckley and Aaron Tveit.
A real treat would be a recording of "Comin Uptown" an all african american version starring Gregory Hines as Scrooge.
It played the Winter Garden
The critics killed it & it closed after a short run.

Was it killed by the critics or was it the victim of snother newspaper strike. I know it ran only a short time.
The critics praised him but not the show

I must admit a certain fondness for SCROOGED. I'm not normally a fan of Mr. Murray's, but this made me laugh. A lot.

We've decided to take Elizabeth to the Radio City Christmas Show. She sees the commercials on TV and sings the jingle all the time. Hopefully she'll be able to sit still for 90 minutes.
I liked Scrooged too, Q, at least when Bobcat Goldthwait wasn't on the screen.
Dollypop, those 90 minutes will fly by, and Elizabeth will never forget the experience.
I took my nieces, who were visiting from out of town. I assure you I went in with arms folded (metaphorically). Within half a minute, I felt precisely 5 years old.
It's silly, it's glitzy, it's plastic--and it's glorious fun.
