I am with Miss Penny on this one!
Sing with me, an old ditty from George I's reign:

Here is a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry be happy
In every life we have some trouble
When you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy......

Ain't got no place to lay your head
Somebody came and took your bed
Don't worry, be happy
The land lord say your rent is late
He may have to litigate
Don't worry, be happy
Lood at me I am happy
Don't worry, be happy
Here I give you my phone number
When you worry call me
I make you happy
Don't worry, be happy
Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
Ain't got not girl to make you smile
But don't worry be happy
Cause when you worry
Your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
So don't worry, be happy (now).....

There is this little song I wrote
I hope you learn it note for note
Like good little children
Don't worry, be happy
Listen to what I say
In your life expect some trouble
But when you worry
You make it double
Don't worry, be happy......
Don't worry don't do it, be happy
Put a smile on your face
Don't bring everybody down like this
Don't worry, it will soon past
Whatever it is
Don't worry, be happy

PEACE.

I like that song because it employs the principles behind The Secret.

Yeah, sing out, Sueleen!

Why on earth is everyone so upset? Every cloud has a silver lining! It's always darkest before the dawn! Smile though your heart is aching! Whistle a happy tune! Put on a happy face! Life is just a bowl of cherries! You'll never walk alone! Always look on the bright side of life! They can get you for wearing red shoes on a Thursday!

We're a wild and an untamed thing
We're a bee with a deadly sting
You get a hit and your mind goes PING
Your heart'll pump and your blood will sing

So let the party and the sounds rock on
We're gonna shake it till the life has gone (gone, gone)
Rose tint my world
Keep me safe from my trouble
And pain

Did you know that a trillion is one million millions? It's true. Thanks to the unnecessary war in Iraq, the United States was already one trillion dollars in debt.

Now add a half million millions more on top of that for this new bailout (and you KNOW it's going to add up to more than that before this is over) and I DON'T EVER WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER REPUBLICAN COMPLAIN ABOUT TAXES AGAIN.

EVER.

There are hungry people in this country.

There are homeless people in this country.

There are millions of people without health insurance.

Why?

Because people like Roxy and Goth ask rhetorically, WHO WILL PAY FOR IT?

Come ye cool, cool conservative men
The likes of which may never be seen again
We have land, cash in hand
Self-command, future planned
Fortune flies, society survives
In neatly ordered lives with well-endowered wives

We sing hosanna, hosanna
To our breeding and our banner
We are cool

Come ye cool cool considerate set
We'll dance together to the same minuet
To the right, ever to the right
Never to the left, forever to the right
May our creed be never to exceed
Regulated speed, no matter what the need

We sing hosanna, hosanna
Enblazoned on our banner
Is keep cool

What we do we do rationally
We never ever go off half-cocked, not we
Why begin till we know that we can win
And if we cannot win why bother to begin?

We say this game's not of our choosing
Why should we risk losing?
We are cool

To the right, ever to the right
Never to the left, forever to the right
We have gold, a market that will hold
Tradition that is old, a reluctance to be bold.

We sing hosanna, hosanna
In a sane and lucid manner
We are cool

Come ye cool, cool considerate men
The likes of which may never be seen again
With our land, cash in hand
Self-command, future planned
And we'll hold to our gold
Tradition that is old, reluctant to be bold.
We say this game's not of our choosing
Why should we risk losing?

We cool, cool, cool
Cool, cool, cool
Cool, cool men.

I think your hopes are cute, Namo, but I have no doubt that Republicans will complain about taxes with impunity for the rest of time.

Oh, Namo, stop being such a Gloomy Gus! This song's for you!

Next time you're found with your chin on the ground
There's a lot to be learned, so look around

Just what makes that little old ant
Think he'll move that rubber tree plant
Anyone knows an ant, can't
Move a rubber tree plant

But he's got high hopes, he's got high hopes
He's got high apple pie, in the sky hopes

So any time you're gettin' low
'stead of lettin' go
Just remember that ant
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant

When troubles call, and your back's to the wall
There's a lot to be learned, that wall could fall

Once there was a silly old ram
Thought he'd punch a hole in a dam
No one could make that ram scram
He kept buttin' that dam

'cause he had high hopes, he had high hopes
He had high apple pie, in the sky hopes

So any time you're feelin' bad
'stead of feelin' sad
Just remember that ram
Oops there goes a billion kilowatt dam

All problems just a toy balloon
They'll be bursted soon
They're just bound to go pop
Oops there goes another problem, kerplop!

WIDE, WIDE RIVER
The Fugs

River of ****
River of ****
Flow on, flow on, river of ****
Right from my toes
On up to my nose
Flow on, flow on, river of ****
I've been swimming
In this river of ****
More than 20 years
And I'm getting tired of it
Don't like swimming
Hope it'll run dry
Got to go on swimming
Cause I don't want to die
Spoken:
Oh I can feel another 1000 years
Of the flapjacks of Sorrow! Unless!
Unless we make 2000 A.D.! 2000 A.D.
Our glorious deadline
A glorious deadline to make the
World a better place!
Or else the flapjacks of sorrow
Are going to slide down our throats
Slide down our throats
For another millenium
Of pain and war and oppression
And all our children's children's children's
Children's children children
Shall have to wade and to swim
In the same grim river
In which we now swim
Sing along with us
Sing sing sing sing sing sing sing sing!
(Repeat first verse)
