I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT TAX AND SPEND DEMOCRATS EVER AGAIN! Brought to you by the Administration that is paying for a war on credit while sending stimulus checks to its citizens. This country is broke financially, and bankrupt intellectually and morally. Private profits, public bailouts.
Radical bailout plan has a jawdropping price tag

WASHINGTON (AP) - Struggling to stave off financial catastrophe, the Bush administration on Friday laid out a radical bailout plan with a jawdropping price tag - a takeover of a half-trillion dollars or more in worthless mortgages and other bad debt held by tottering institutions.
Relieved investors sent stocks soaring on Wall Street and around the globe. The Dow-Jones industrials average rose 368 points after surging 410 points the day before on rumors the federal action was afoot.
A grim-faced President Bush acknowledged risks to taxpayers in what would be the most sweeping government intervention to rescue failing financial institutions since the Great Depression. But he declared, "The risk of not acting would be far higher."

Posted: 9/19/08 at 7:33pmI don't ever want to hear that it was a good idea to systematically set about dismantling the New Deal from the mouths of people whose administrations have created the largest new beauracracies in US history AND decided to spend a half-trillion dollars it doesn't have because not spending it would be "riskier."

And the CEOs of these failing private businesses getting their 20 million dollar bonuses just a few short months ago but to talk about increasing the taxes on those mothereffers and you get Roxy screaming about how it's wealth redistribution.

Whew. It was wearing me out.
I can't find it online but heard Sean Hannity rip into Obama this week saying that being "Negative" about our economy hurts the US on the world stage. Do you think they even try to believe crap like that or just throw it out there knowing it's BS?

I may be a "positive" person, but I'm not delusional, stupid or Sarah Palin!
I can't tell you how many times I have heard Republicans say things like, "Why do you people have to remind us about all the sadness in the world? I know people are starving, babies are dying and disease is rampant. You don't need to tell me about it!"
I'm serious.

Of course it's not lost on us that McCain's chief economic adviser is none other than Carly Fiorina who totally torched Hewlett-Packward before she was sent packing with a sizable severance package which included $21 million in cash.
When will the neocon-driven GOP reign of terror and utter stupidity end?
