A toast to this wonderful lady and all of the laughs and tears shed from her work on television, film, record, and stage.

And SHAME on Broadway and other communities for not holding some sort of tribute to her today to honor all of her accomplishments.

It is also a shame that you cannot watch her peerless "The Carol Burnett Show" on any of the cable channels, at least in the Northeast section of the country. To see her work try and get her show on DVD or watch clips on YouT*be channel.

Viva "Mildred Fierce"!

Best lines:

"Good recipe."

"Here's $50,000; that should hold you for a day or two."

"Kids, they sure keep you hopping!"

"Mommy! Veda pull trigger, Monty go boom!"

Do you know what happens when you let Veal Prince Orloff sit in an oven too long?

"What a lovely dress!"

"Oh, this thing? I just saw it in the window and I couldn't resist."

Favorite moment EVER!!!

Anyone remember her career-starting guest spot on "The Twilight Zone"? Not many stars were memorable on that show, but she managed to shine.

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
