No. The Grammy goes to album producer, composer, and lyricist. In the 50s, the Grammy went to composer and star. 

They're both miscast. 

The show will be gone in less than 3 months. The Times' clout is diminished given ticket prices. Plus, Isherwood is a campy man who likes campy shows. 

Theatre queens and Seth's 17 fans will see the show. And then? No one will pay full price for a show that plays like a musical feature from "The Carol Burnett Show" with Eydie Gorme. ??

Seth makes Bernie Sanders seem soft spoken.

Re her makeup/nails, you could make a case how an ugly insecure girl compensates by things she can control, like her nails and makeup. The same issue can be raised for most other 1960s film musicals. 

Can the hoped-for Latino audience afford $150 a ticket?

Who's financing this disaster? Seth's Nicky Arnstein husband? Rosie? It belongs at Don't Tell Mama. 

It will be the Asian Amazing Grace. Nobody knows who is Lea Salonga and Takei has about 14 fans. A gripping story that looks like a fey Lifetime film. 

I think he's an awesome writer. No one else makes theatre interesting and colorful as he does. 

She should star in "Ballroom" with Tom Hanks. The score is mostly by her supposedly good friends the Bergmans. It's poignant and the role is age-appropriate. Sarah Jessica Parker can play her daughter. 

The ca. 1980 BBC adaptation with Kate Nelligan was amazing.
