button flys have quicker access. For whatever. One pull and unloading (of whatever is building up) is possible.

CONVINCE, i was just asking for an innocent current snapshot of you to see if those early good looks matured into a handsome depants-able man, that's all. PM's are fine *wink*.

OK, you two, get a room...

How can button-flys be quicker than a zipper? I would imagine the buttons would slow you down!!

zippers catch material and hair (interior to the fly or loose from faces that come in proximity), and sometimes the mechanism of the slider gets stuck (mid-way, or mine often gets caught open when washed, and you have to fish the little tab out from the two connecting overlapping seam allowances at the bottom of the fly).

The more 501's and their copiers age, the easier the buttonholes release the tab buttons. That sound can be a lot sexier than the zipper rasp.

Of course, any fly opens quickly with enough practice. Practice makes perfect. My practicum (so to speak) in fly crotch manipulation is available by audition only.

That picture is only a couple of years old. Well, a couple of four years old. I'm sure I have other pics, but I don't want to litter up this board with my pictures. I really don't. My hair is nothing like that, though. Oh, wait..... (a few minutes have passed) - This one is a photo of a photo, cut and pasted on poster board. It's a long and boring story, but it's pretty current. This year.

this thread is so fun!! usually i have to undo some things because of the type of underwear... but if i go commando then just unzipping is great.

Do people actually "go commando"??? I can't even imagine doing that. Besides being uncomfortable, there are some serious zipper issues...

oh, it's so comfortable dano... once you've done it you never want to go back. yes, you have to be a little careful with the zipper, but it's fine.

"commando", what a stupid term, can be comfortable, in the right pair of soft button-down fly jeans. Otherwise, I wouldn't do it, either.
