OK-
When you're standing at the urinal, do you:
a) simply unzip, and pull it out, or
b) undo your belt and pants, and pull them down a bit
and why do you do it that way?

Posted: 4/13/05 at 4:01pmDepends... especially if I'm wearing jeans with button fly, I kind'a have to undo the top too.

Posted: 4/13/05 at 6:57pmIf I'm wearing jeans with a zipper, I just undo the zipper. If I'm wearing button-fly jeans (which most of mine are), I have to undo the belt and all that jazz. It's tedious, I know, but necessary.

Usually unzip and pull out.
But, most of my jeans are button-fly, so I have to undo the whole thing.

Posted: 4/13/05 at 7:06pmhahahaha...umm...i have a funny story about this subject from today. i walked into the bathroom on the seventh floor of my university's library and this man, who could have been a day under 55 years old was standing at the urinal...with his pants and underwear around his ankles, proudly peeing away. Like a third grader. Thought I'd share. :)

When I was in the Kings Navy, in the 60's, I had to pee after undoing 13 buttons on my sailor suit . Try that on for size. The 13 buttons, by the way, were for the 13 original colonies. Many times, I wished there were a few less original colonies if you get my drift
There, the secrets out that many many moons ago I served in the armed forces & was a swabie . Whoop de doo

Thanks guys.
I am in the "simply unzip and pull it out" category. It always amazes me to notice guys at the urinals with their pants undone, some of them almost down to their ankles, just to stand there and whizz! I always think "If you have to undo your pants that much, you might as well go into a stall and sit down!"
I've never owned the button fly jeans, and it sounds like those are quite a bit more cumbersome and therefore require more work at the urinal. But that forces me to ask: Why buy button fly jeans in the first place? Seems like so much more work! (Maybe I'm just lazy!)

Posted: 4/14/05 at 10:03amOk so I'm not a guy but my husband was in the army and their pants have button flies and they are the most annoying things on earth. I wore his uniform as a halloween costume once and thought I would die before I would get to go to the bathroom...why put yourself through such torture?

ever notice guys in button-fly jeans often have the last (lowest) button undone? i do that myself in mine. If you do that, you can unbutton from bottom to top without undoing a belt or the waistband button. Then you can "release and unload" (particularly with flap-front briefs), and re-button from top to (almost) bottom. If going commando, that takes out a step as well of course.
And if someone tells you your bottom button is undone, you know exactly where they've been looking, and maybe a bit more about them. You have to look CAREFULLY to see that button undone on most guys. It can be a good conversation starter (but unfortunately not always with the people with which you'd PREFER to start a conversation that way).

Here's a picture of me (looking and feeling veddy British, I might add), in an outfit that required pulling stuff down!

Someone asked, so I'm answering.
Most jeans worth buying these days - in my opinion - with a great fit and a hot wash are button fly. I really only wear Diesel jeans - I have like 20 pairs - and they're all button except for one pair. So that's my reasoning.

Posted: 4/14/05 at 3:53pmTxTwoStep, are you asking me if I have a photo of myself with my pants down? I'm sure I don't; but somebody may have one. You may want to ask around.
