Those in the Tri-State area are probably familiar with the TV ad for the GREAT ADVENTURE theme park. What you don't know is that the man with the big glasses who stars in the commercial is none other than our beloved Albin.
Yup, it's true!

Well, my dearest good OLD and extremely unattractive dollypop, you said the following:
Those in the Tri-State area are probably familiar with the TV ad for the GREAT ADVENTURE theme park.
If you would have said Six Flags Great Adventure, I would have not said a word. But throughout the US and Europe, there are Six Flags with many different names. So, as much as you hate to think so, my question was EXTREMELY reasonable.

Sweet, sweet, sweet Derric,
It is customary in the English language to capitalize names.
Which language do you speak at home?

*Looks left at BWay11*
*Looks right at DollyPop*
*Left*

Well, it's exciting to know that underneath those glasses is our own lamentable Albin.
I love that commercial.

that we like to party is my boyfriend and my "song" ..... so of course that commercial makes me happy!
That characte is nightmare inducing. It's every different clown that my parents took me to see at the circus rolled into one.

Did anyone else have trouble comprehending the gist of what Shesings was saying in that previous posting?
Dolly, et. al.:
Sadly I spent more than 2 minutes reading the referenced "shesings" post. I shall attempt to decode it here.
Good evening chums!
Ah yes, I have seen the commercial that you are discussing. It gives me a thrill, and makes me quite happy. Why, you ask?
My gentleman caller and I have picked a piece of music to refer to as "our own". It is a song that makes us think of each other when we are apart, and makes us smile when we are together. The song that we have claimed as a sign of our couplehood is entitled "We Like to Party", recorded in the late 90's by a group called the "Venga Boys". (It should be noted that the lead singer is in fact NOT a boy.)
So essentially, "our song" is being used as the theme for Mr. Albin's commercial debut.
Cheers all!

sorry ... apparently i shouldn't post things when i've been sick all day and sort of out of it - i'll remember that in the future. Basically I like the song from the commercial. That's all. Pretty pointless in retrospect.
ckeaton - that was fabulous!
I love that commercial. That guy can really move. Also, it is so energizing when they play that song in the fitness club.

Our man Albin has the moves alright! He looks better without the glasses, though!
