Now that Robbiej's "Basket Case" has finished it's run, it's time to start shilling another OB show that is worth seeing.
"LEGS" starring Edie. If you have never seen Edie, you are missing a phenomenal entertainer. A talented dancer (front row seating is at your own risk at her shows...the kicks are amazing), singer and comedian...this girl is truly fabulicious

Yes, the boys are hot. Home grown, hand picked and nurtured to perfection until ripe and juicy.

Looks great!
As Ethel Merman used to say:
Edie was a lady,
Though her past was shady,
Edie had class--
With a capital "K"!

Posted: 5/11/05 at 4:01pmOh, Namo, you needn't call it "charity" work. I'm sure Edie liked you, REALLY liked you.

Now Corine, you shouldn't assume that because a man performs in drag that he is gay. Someone like you, who has her finger on the pulse of theater, should know that drag is a very old theatrical tradition. In fact, the word drag comes from old theater programs when only men acted onstage and would do women's roles. They were listed as "doing role as girl" or d.r.a.g for short.

Posted: 5/11/05 at 6:46pmCorine would do well to try to get an interview with Nina. I suspect THAT interview would almost write itself. I never knew about the origin of the term "drag" until I read Nina's post. And if she's not available, Edie is coming to town...what an interview *that* would be...
