Origin of drag. Fascinating.
And I get to see SOMMS's gams... what a way to KICK off the unofficial start of summer!

Corine should interview Nina. What a great idea. I can just imagine it.
Corine: So Nina, how many times have you seen Ave Q? What about Forbidden Broadway or, as those of us in the know call it, FB?
Maybe the interview should be done by phone so that Corine wouldn't know who Nina is but would be trying to slyly find out.
Corine: Nina, thanks for calling in. First things first, how many times have you seen Ave Q and FB?
Nina: None
Corine; Do you love sushi?
Nina; Not especially
Corine: Okay, so, are you a high kicking drag queen? Did you ever play a nun on OZ? Have you ever played opposite...oh what was her name? You know, The woman who was married to Fosse. What did you think of the movie "Valley Of the Dolls"? What's it like to have a tv show? Were those eight kids annoying to work with? Did the little really end up on drugs?
Nina: I have no idea what the hell you're talking about
Corine: Don't play coy, I'll get it out of you sooner or later. Do you like chocolate fondu?
Nina: No
Corine: Have you ever had a crush on a gay man? I have. He broke my heart. They all do. Can you get me a job? I have five but I really need another. Going to shows and living in NYC is very expensive.
Nina: I have to go
Corine: Fine, you're dead to me now

Posted: 5/11/05 at 7:04pmJust joking, Corine...please don't threaten to sue me.

Posted: 5/11/05 at 7:10pmAt least you didn't post a picture, Orion.

Posted: 5/12/05 at 1:23amOrion, what the hell are you blabbering on about? Are you implying that Nina is Chita/Rita/Betty/Patti/Edie? A few of us here have met Nina and if you are trying to smoke out who she is it won't work. But I can tell you that at least one of your questions is not too far off. But if Nina wanted people to know who she was she would let you all know. Now drop it...

I LOVE ORION! I want to have his baby, and I don't care who knows it!
Oh, and Craig, it does have to do with AVE Q. See, where some may think Corine, "has her finger on the pulse of theater" in reality all she wants is for someone to "put their finger there."

#35re: A Show That Shouldn't Be Missed
Posted: 5/12/05 at 6:45pmEtoile, that's fine with me as long as you keep it at your place. I wouldn't have one running around the house. They're just so messy.

Posted: 5/12/05 at 8:32pmI think I just pee'd a little from laughing at that interview...Orion expect an extra squeeze when I see you. What's so funny is that it really sounded like Nina answering the questions. Where is my Nina? I miss her. She's actually the daughter of Chita/Rita/Betty/Patti/Edie/Carol.

Oooooohhh...!
Edie's going to be the guest star Monday night at SCOTT NEVINS PRESENTS!
#38re: A Show That Shouldn't Be Missed
Posted: 5/13/05 at 4:45pmDidn't Nina say something about being there?

Well of course, Boobs. I've known Chiritadina Edie Bucklawrence long enough to know how she would respond.
Anyone who has paid attention to her posts could sound like her. You simply speak in the third person a lot.

Posted: 5/13/05 at 6:08pmBTW, why is that whenever Corine comments in any thread, the thread turns around to something completely different than it was originally intended? That is a very strange phenomenon.

Corine is a strange phenomenon.
BTW: Whatever happened to "Corine's Corner" at Yenta.Com?
She was promising to have "exciting discussions about theater" but all she did was talk abouot Michael Musto. Now it's all gone.
