I've been enjoying playing a game for a long time that I thought I would share with the group. Whenever Mary_Ethel starts a thread like "Famous Moments in Oscar Acceptance Speeches," I do searches at Amazon.com and other places to try to guess which reference book Mary_Ethel has recently purchased or rediscovered in his collection.
It's really FUN!
No FindingNamo, it's usually just the IMDB.

Dammit! Here I was giving him credit for being a book person!
Wasting all of your valuable time worrying about little ol' ME?
WHY, I'm FLATTERRED...
And just for the record:
Since when is it a crime to read books, research the Internet (NOT just the IMDB, Marquise!), or use on-line databases?
If it IS, folks, then hang me from the HIHGEST tree...
No Mary_Etel. I never wrote that there was anything wrong with you getting your information from the IMDB, or books, or newspapers for that matter. That's what those resources are there for to inform and educate. Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all.

Ooops!
A lapse of judgement on my part.

GUYS.
FOR. THE. LAST. TIME.
I AM NOT "Gary Silverman"--WHOEVER THAT IS???
I AM ONLY ME.
(Jose', don't you think If I was using different User Names--Rob would have caught on by now via IP Address?)
Let's all take a deep breath and THINK a little here, shall we?
Man, this is truly getting HYSTERICAL...

I wasn't suggesting anything was wrong with your endless new threads, Mary_Elephant. Well, except for the fact that it's plagiarism when you don't credit the sources. But other than that, nothing.
Namo, YOU. JUST. DON'T. LIKE. ME.
You have insisted TIME AND TIME AGAIN that I am really "Gary Silverman" (again, whoever THAT is.)
Therefore, ANYTHING I do displeases you.
Thus, I will not respond to your Jr. High School name-calling and remarks on my activities on the Board.
As you are so pre-disposed as to who am I and did not like THAT person, I don't stand a chance in heck of making points with you.
So I'm going to take the thinking man's route and not even try.

I didn't say a WORD about you having another identity in this thread. I have to point out that this really is a case of a lady protesting TOO much.

Bump. Just thought since it had been about 15 minutes since the last post this was long overdue.

Oh, how sweet. Really, the love on this board is overwhelming today.
Darn, and here I thought it was going to be "Whenever M/E makes a new thread take a shot. Whenever M/E BUMPS one of her OWN threads take off an article of clothing and do TWO shots." That sounds like more fun to me. Of course, we would all be naked and passed out in a bout 20 minutes, but what the hey...

Sueleen dear, some I believe already arrive at the board naked and ready to pass out.
dammit, etoile, i can't tell you anything can i?

it is interesting how many new posts M_E can start without once denigrating another poster...isn't it, NAMO? of course, the other route is easier.

Not an unexpected response.
You can be direct with me, Etoile, if you're implying something.

Did you know the word "denigrate" is derived from "n*," Tex? Well, probably not, being that you're from Texas and all. It's AMAZING how many words are racist without us being smart enough to know it!

Hmm. The Latin 'nigrare' means "to blacken." Kind of a stretch from that to racism.
gee...insults and a language lesson all rolled into one...
Bump, just cause I am thirsty and hot.
"gee...insults and a language lesson all rolled into one..."
I prefer to think of it as multi-tasking.
