A fun Mary_Ethel-based game!

I've been enjoying playing a game for a long time that I thought I would share with the group. Whenever Mary_Ethel starts a thread like "Famous Moments in Oscar Acceptance Speeches," I do searches at Amazon.com and other places to try to guess which reference book Mary_Ethel has recently purchased or rediscovered in his collection.

It's really FUN!

And just for the record:

Since when is it a crime to read books, research the Internet (NOT just the IMDB, Marquise!), or use on-line databases?

No Mary_Etel. I never wrote that there was anything wrong with you getting your information from the IMDB, or books, or newspapers for that matter. That's what those resources are there for to inform and educate. Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all.

Therefore, ANYTHING I do displeases you.

Thus, I will not respond to your Jr. High School name-calling and remarks on my activities on the Board.

Darn, and here I thought it was going to be "Whenever M/E makes a new thread take a shot. Whenever M/E BUMPS one of her OWN threads take off an article of clothing and do TWO shots." That sounds like more fun to me. Of course, we would all be naked and passed out in a bout 20 minutes, but what the hey...

it is interesting how many new posts M_E can start without once denigrating another poster...isn't it, NAMO? of course, the other route is easier.
