Frankly I think there should be a rule here. "No film can be remade if it came out within fifty years of the proposed remake." There is absolutely no reason to do this film over so soon - IF AT ALL.

Did anyone else find the movie a bit disturbing, with a grown woman falling in love with someone who was essentially a pre-adolescent? Had the genders been reversed, it might not have been so charming.
