re: Can someone be taught how to sing?

I think that anyone can be taught to hit pitches. I'm not sure that everyone can necessarily be a great singer.
Spelling Bee Love!

I finally saw Bee when I was in SF a couple weeks ago! LOVED IT! But now I want to see the other shows to see the differences.
re: Chat anybody?

The chat room on this site doesn't work on my computer...

But if anyone wants to come into chat room 'bww', I'm there.

re: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (?)

I really don't like the movie. LOVE the show. But the moive was just...

The chariot chase might have been it. That and the fact that they cut half the songs.

re: CD's for Little Kids

I agree with Once on this Island. Great show.

Some of my favorites when I was little: Annie get your Gun, Camelot, Sound of Music, Oklahoma, and Fiddler on the Roof.

re: Chicago Spelling Bee Pictures

They all look like they're made out of clay. Weird.

re: Separated at Birth: Mano Felciano & Taylor from AI?

re: Separated at Birth: Mano Felciano & Taylor from AI?

Hah. Let's see how many people we can find that look somewhat like Mano! Profile for theatrebabe | BroadwayWorld Message Board
re: Separated at Birth: Mano Felciano & Taylor from AI?

Well, Taylor looks like he has gray hair there....I don't see it really either.
re: Imagine If Sondheim Had Written.....

That made me laugh out loud, Mr. Roxy.
re: the return of JERBY: FULLY LOADED!

You are so cute, jerby!! That's a great poster!
re: Miss Saigon...

I was just introduced to it a few weeks ago, actually. I love it. It's amazing and beautiful.
re: 'Bad ' Musicals You Enjoyed

Seussical and Jekyll and Hyde are both guilty pleasures of mine. I can't help it!
re: Sweeney Todd -- Approrpriate for 14 year old?

Bless you, Auggie!

I think you would get along well with my parents. They used to(and still do) take me with them to just about every theatre event that goes on around here. It's thanks to them that I'm interested in theatre at all.

And I agree. Give kids some credit. Most 14 yr. olds watch horror movies. Those are waaaay scarier than Sweeney.

re: Sweeney Todd -- Approrpriate for 14 year old?

I saw this show when I was 11 or 12 and loved it and understood everything I think. I'd say, go for it.
Love Letters

I just discovered this play a few days ago and LOVE it. It's a very quick read. The script I have says that Elaine Stritch played in it. That's all I know. When was she in it? When and where did it run? Any information is very appreciated. :)
re: With So Little To Be Sure Of

It's from Anyone Can Whistle.

I love this song too. I have Jerry Hadley and Carolann Page singing it on my recording of the Sondheim Celebration at Carnegie Hall. Beautiful.

re: Admit it--you know nothing about ____ show

Company, Follies, Sunday in the Park with George.

Well, I know Sunday. And I have a recording of the Sondheim Concert at Carnegie Hall which has a lot of songs from Company and Follies. But otherwise...zip.

re: Your Daddy's Son

One of the creepiest somgs I've ever heard. But so, so good. I love it. :) Yeah, I'm not really adding anything informative either...
re: BWW Idol - Pop/Rock Group 1 at 7pmEST!

Timote, I love it. 'Cept when you belted "know" at the end. Could have been stronger.

I don't know if I can really vote this round. It's gonna be too hard to choose.
