They did it at a local community college a few years ago and it was hilarious. It's probably been one of my favorite community/college shows that I've ever seen. Theres a HUGE amount of room for improv/audience participation. It got a little racy but I'm sure they can tone it down if your in a high school production.

Smeraldina, the maid, is the most fun female role. She has the most comic material.
Remember, this was originally written in Italian. There are many different tranlations and adaptations - some raunchier than others.
