Eastwickian, are you from the UK? my french teacher is and I remember once when someone in my class finally got a concept she said "the penny dropped didn't it. We all kind of stared at her and she said it was a british expression.

Darn I thought the post meant it would become a broadway show. I could imagine all the great dance numbers with people dancing in a human cake formation and the heartbreaking songs about not being able to finish a cake in time. Wow, i'm tired.

That Patti LuPone was in Candide. I saw Candide having no idea who Patti LuPone was, and then I saw Gypsy and I first noticed her. Then I saw a youtube video of a scene from Candide and I realized it. Also when me and my sis were discussing Gypsy, Sofie brought to my attention that it was written by Sondheim. After having my sister be in it in a local community theater production and seeing it on Broadway you think I would have figured it out. But no. What would I do without her.

So my mom knows the guy who played dr. dillamond the original cast of wicked, so when we went to see wicked we were able to go back stage. That, of course meant leaving backstage. Outside of the theatre there were all these people holding up signs and stuff waiting for Kristin and Idina to come out. Since Dr. Dillamond wears a mask the entire show, nobody recognized him. So there we were, my mom, my moms friend, my sister (she was about 11), and me. I was about 9 so of course I was absolutely fr

I didn't join just to post this. I joined because I wanted to get more insights on broadway shows and stuff. I was just wondering what people thought about disney-broadway, because it's very different from regular broadway. And I know people can get kind of nasty because I've lurked on bww before, but what can they be nasty about. I didn't even give my opinion
