AIDA audition

Hey guys, I'm auditioning for Radames in my school's production of Aida. Any ideas for audition songs? I was thinking maybe something from JCS, Evita, or maybe 'Lost in the Wilderness' from Children of Eden.

I'd say thats a pretty good choice (lost in the wilderness). I'd hate to say it, but since it's a school production you could probably get away with doing something from rent as well.

I'm NOT going to do anything from RENT. Maybe something from Tick tick, but not RENT.

i wouldnt NOT sing a rent song because a lot of people on these boards say not to. since it is a high school show, they probably wont care what you sing as long as you have talent. When my school did the show, a girl sang "defying gravity" and was given the part of Amneris.

so dont immediately say no to songs from current shows because in high school i dont think it really matters.
