This was me and my buddies high school movie. We used to watch it all the time. It not only fit into out "Norton-thons" but also our "Neo Nazi-thons", along with Romper Stomper and The Bleiever...we were some f***ed up Jewish kids.

I watched it. This is a GREAT movie, but definitely one of the most disturbing and upsetting movies - on so many levels. Probably why it's so powerful as a film.

Norton's acting is amazing in this film (and he's so buff!). I've seen this movie many times, and the teeth on the curb scene - I still wince, cringe, hide, etc. It really is disturbing!

Akiva...repeat viewings of The Believer? How'd you manage to get through it? Ryan Gosling was incredible, but it's one of those movies that I could never stomach again. It really upset me.
