I was watcing with my mom and she really thinks it has something to do with race. Racist america put the two best singers in the bottom, could there be any other explanation? I'm literally in tears.

I am just heartbroken. I have never seen Paula so upset, and you could tell that Simon was truly pissed. What is wrong with America. I vote 3 times from 3 different phones.

But I know she will get the record deal she deserves.

I don't even understand why people see in color. The whole competition is based on vocal talent and if people are voting solely on skin color then it completly defeats the purpose of the show.

I think she'll get a deal as well. She was definitely the best singer of the group. Very natural. I still can't believe it.....insane.

Jasmine was HORRIBLE last week. She should have been gone.

Top four should have been La Toya, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, and Carmen! Jasmine should have been out long ago.

What a way to go, "Don't Rain On My Parade" was SO appropriate and SO moving. I cried. She put her heart into it even more so tonight. Better than the first time she sang it, and I thought THAT was the best.

The voting system is corrupt. You are allowed to vote as many times as you would like. What's up with that??? They should allow online voting. This way, they can check IP addresses.

Who is Carmen?? I only watched after the top 12 had been chosen. I guess I should have watched the auditions...

I agree- Jasmine was horrible. But, as Simon said, I'm sure that every house in Hawaii has 4 phone lines and voted for her...

The two best voices (Latoya and Jennifer) have been voted out of this competition. The scary part is...this wasn't fixed, they really were voted off. America is apparently blind, deaf, and extremely dumb.

Jasmine looked truely upset though. You could tell she really thought she should have been up there. And La Toya is such, such, SUCH, a classy women. She handled that loss with much dignity and I agree that "Don't Rain On My Parade" was very appropriate and very moving. How come I knew something like this would happen?

I was vote just before the show ends, at about 8:55. The lines are always open and I almost always get through the first time.

I have tried calling right around that time when the show ends but it never works. Maybe it has to do with how many people in my area that are calling. I heard something about how people from smaller areas are more likely to get through because of something that escapes me right now...but anyways...yeah.

This is so wrong. I don't think it's a race card though (otherwise would we have had LaToya, Fantasia, Jennifer and Ricky in the top 5?). I think it's like Ruben getting into the bottom 2 last season - there's so much hype, and Ruben and LaToya seem like such a lock to win, that people assume their safe, don't vote for them, and instead vote a lot for their second favorite.

Just a theory of course.

I'm still glad that The Evil Red Head That Could(n't) is gone. If John Stevens won, the sky would cave in and America would cower at my rage.

I was so disappointed. My mother and i just sat there in shock. America NEEDS to wake up and VOTE

But if you want to be an optomistic person, maybe its better she didnt win. Of course she was the best singer in teh competition but now she has her options to do whatever she wants. Being the next Aida (how great would that be even though its closing) Writing her own lyrics, finding a record company that will let her do what she wants.
