You know that feeling right before the curtain opens and your heart races a billion miles per hour? Well, I love that feeling. It gives me such a high. I seriously think if there was a substance where I would get that feeling, I would totally be addicted to it... okay, so I'm addicted to acting/theatre, so I guess there is.

My favorite actors are Adam Pascal, Raul Esparza, and Norbert Leo Butz, and my favorite actresses are Idina Menzel, Sherie Rene Scott, and Daphne Rubin-Vega. My favorite shows are RENT, AIDA, Pippin, and quite a few others. I love everything Broadway.

re: Tick Tick Boom

I LOVE Tick Tick Boom. The music is gorgeous. "See Her Smile" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. "30/90" just rocks. "Come to Your Sense" and "Louder than Words" are such amazing songs. Seriously, I love every song on the cast recording. I want to see a live production so badly! And I also thought "Sugar" was about something else too.

*bump* I just spent the last hour searching for the script online (I just saw the show last night, and really want the scrip too!), and I only found the recording and vocal selections. Is there a script available?

re: How did you become a RentHEAD?

Aug 12, 2005 — 9:33:11 PM

I first discovered RENT when I was 9. The theatre company I belonged to did a variety show of a bunch of Broadway shows, and RENT was one of them. We performed "What You Own", "Seasons of Love" and "One Song Glory". Of course, being 9, I didn't really know what the story was about. I knew it had something to do with homeless people and AIDS (which I really didn't know what it was except that it was a disease) and love, but that's about it. I loved those 3 songs, but after the variety show, we...

re: RENT 'i mean what does one wear..?'

I'm going to make myself the Maureen 'Over the Moon' pants from the show (with all of the stars on them) or just wear plaid pants (even though neither of those clothing items are in the show). I think I'll go with plaid, and wear my black and white striped scarf then wear my RENT t-shirt.

re: So who keeps or collects Playbills??

Aug 4, 2005 — 4:26:56 PM

Of course I keep/collect them! I have this HUGE box filled with playbills and playbill binders. I really wish I still had the playbills from when I was a really little kid. I only have the ones from the last 8 or 9 years.
