ARGGHHH!!!! Mispelling names in film!
#0ARGGHHH!!!! Mispelling names in film!
Posted: 6/4/05 at 11:25pmI did a film a few years back, and though I am not mentioned on imdb, I was curious as to why - so I looked the film up on line, and noticed that they mispelled my name. Therefore, this film, screened at festivals had my mispelled name all over the place! How does one rectify this? (And do I put myself "credited as..." on my resume?)

..being on imdb is cool!

Posted: 6/5/05 at 12:01amyou could do that, unless theres a way to change it... but people who have seen it probably remember the mispelled name, you know? so maybe you should put it on your resume

jaded, are you saying he (she?) should put the mispelled name on their resume?
I DOn't think that's the smartest thing ever.

Posted: 6/5/05 at 12:17amMy last name is both my Mother's maiden name and my father's hyphenated together. However under my IMDB it says I can also be found without the hyphen (this is due to stupid Social Security mess up when I was born but that is a long story)
