Never heard of a capybara before. It's a rodent which makes the story that much more amazing.

They are the largest rodents in the world. They can reach 100 pounds in the wild.
Lincoln park zoo in Chicago has a particularly cute herd of them. I used to go over on my lunch hour and ogle them.

Posted: 3/18/13 at 6:10pmI want a dachshund, though I admit that I don't want a miniature one, I want the standard sized. Whenever I see the minis in the city, or any other tiny dog, I'm always afraid that they will get stepped on.

Capybaras are from South America? Interesting. Looking at these photos, I would have given a cartoon version of one a British accent. No idea why. It just looks British to me. "Yes, hello. These are my pups, thank you very much. Very well-behaved, if I do say so myself. Would you like some tea?"
I know I'm weird...
