Everyone wants one. I'm working on it, but I can't work miracles and not all of them will be in the final cut. (I haven't even written myself a solo, I'm so busy with you guys. Which may actually make a good song...) Anyway, just be aware that not everyone can have a song about every inside joke in the final draft. Thanks.
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."
That's my girl, taking control of the situation. Very proud. Let's you just show Insomny a lil' respect!
"You! You are the worst thing to happen to musical theatre since Andrew Lloyd Webber! And you, well, I just plain don't like you."
~Stewart Gilligan Griffin
That's my point. I don't want to be rude, but the solos and big numbers should be reserved for the mainstays and people and threads we know very well. I hate to exclude, but there's a limit. We don't want our audience dying of old age in the audience, do we? And the ensemble is big with room for lots of smaller groups where all will be seen and head.
I'm sorry insomniak. I understand. I feel for that poor audience that won't get many of the jokes but would still have to listen for hours and hours. Poor dears.
