Um...you might want to take note of how many films are above it before you celebrate so much. Namely, 89 of them. That's more movies than I can even name from last year alone.

Posted: 1/23/06 at 9:42pmOkay, but how many of those 500-700 films were tiny indies only seen in a few festivals? You have to judge a film by its budget, provenance, and expectations, and by those standards Rent fell short.
