I have a musical theatre workshop coming up for school. I can choose whatever song I want, and am going to learn to act the hell out of it. It does NOT matter if it's overdone, as I'm not using it for an audition. I think I've got it down between:
"Here I Am" from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
&
"Let Me Come Home" from The Wedding Singer
I can sing both songs well. What do you think? Which one will I be able to do with more acting-wise?
I vote Here I Am
Here I am.

Here I Am. There's much more of a story and character arc to find in that song. Plus it's a better overall song.
