re: Tote Bags

i'd get one and use it all the time but my friends would but like HAHAH YOU GAY WITH FUNNY LOOK BAG. I'm sorry, but is that even a sentence? I have no idea what your point is because I can't understand anything you're trying to write.

re: Miranda Sings

May 15, 2009 — 3:23:13 PM

She's not a real person. Her name is Colleen Ballinger and she's a very talented performer. I don't think her "Miranda" character is as funny as everyone thinks it is, but in no way is she an attention whore.

My three biggest disappointments: 1. The Seagull was not nominated for Best Revival 2. [tos] was not nominated for Best Musical 3. Constantine?!?!?!??

re: How did the Titanic sink on Broadway?

May 4, 2009 — 9:38:41 AM

high school kids are OBSESSED with Titanic and they love doing the show. It makes them feel like Leo or Kate. ...Those characters aren't in the musical. Either high school students are very dumb, or you're mistaken when you assume that. I'm going to have to agree with Dame. This show is painful and boring.

Mmmmmm Hugh Jackman. I think visually Nicole Kidman would work extremely well as Amneris, but definitely not vocally.

re: Most Unprofessional Thing You've Done as a performer!

One Saturday night after a performance of 42nd Street, about 3/4 of the cast all went bar hopping. At 2 when most of the bars were closing, we went back to someone's apartment. Our intent was to sleep since we had a matinee the next day, but instead we stayed up all night drinking more. Literally, all night. We all went to the theater for our 12:30 call completely wasted. That poor poor audience. I also remember when I was in a production of Oklahoma, during the fight in Farmer and the Cowman...

Bye Bye Birdie Audition

Apr 7, 2009 — 4:25:03 PM

I've been to plenty of auditions where I really thought I've nailed it or got to sing a few extra bars, and then heard nothing. It's not out of the ordinary and it happens all the time. Don't stress about it.

Bye Bye Birdie Audition

I was gonna go...but I am so not in the mood to deal with this this weekend. My thoughts exactly. Surflight was crazy enough for me last weekend.

re: Aida Opinons

Back in high school we did a production of Aida, and our Aida was as pale as a ghost. I just don't think it captured the full impact of the story.

I got rush tickets for $20 and STILL thought it was a waste of my money.
