I was on AirTran today coming home to PA. They offered free earphones to listen to the plug in radio thing in the arm of the seat. So, I took a pair just for the heck of it. I put in it and was going through the channels and I found a channel called "On Broadway!" I was so happy listening to showtunes in the air without my CD player.
It was funny because everytime the pilot or attendants came on the speaker it would interupt the music but never-the-less....it was great!

Posted: 12/16/05 at 4:57pmContinental has the same thing (except the headsets ain't free, unless you're flying first class). Their Broadway selection is usually decent and usually has a theme. It was a Cy Coleman tribute the last time I flew. It's especially nice since the movie is usually crap.
