Oh God. While I do agree the current system needs a major overhaul this is NOT the way I think. I mean...routing passengers into "normal" "Known" and "risk" is just wrong. Every Middle Eastern is gonna be forced to go through the elevated one no matter how much they fly...whether its at request from the "biometric" guy or bigots in the crowd who raise a fuss when someone they dont like goes through "Normal" or known. And come on, just because someone is "known" traveler does not deem them any safer then the next guy in line who will go through the elevated one. I think this system is dumb and the only way to ensure a better system is to have one where EVERYONE is put through the same thing...same procedure, same scrutiny.
