My hope was for them to have some sort of event with big name singers performing while they remove that piece of sh*t’s name and then put the letters in a pile and set them on fire.

Attended the final preview tonight. For what it is, which is a world premiere of a new musical, I enjoyed more of it than I disliked. I'd say for me, about 60% of the score was successful while the other 40% just didn't work at all. I know every word to the film but haven't read the book since 1999 so I had forgotten so much, including the Tori character. When this show succeeds it works really beautifully but there's just so many great and dramatic moments that are shortchang

I will always see anything that Stephen Spinella does, so I went to see this the other night and whoo boy, it was something. Funny enough. i just got out of “The People Vs. Lenny Bruce” at Theatre Row and they announced a series of post-show talkbacks this month, one of them being with Estelle Parsons. She said the talkback dates are on their website but I didn’t see them listed right now.

The 2014 Broadway production of “Love Letters” closed before Anjelica Houston, Martin Sheen, Diana Rigg and Stacy Keach could all go on. I was especially gutted about not getting to see Houston.

Following the news of the “Other Desert Cities” revival yesterday, I was thinking about Judith Light and how it’s been over a decade since we’ve been privileged enough to see her onstage. Then I went to “Death of a Salesman” again last night and even though Metcalf gives the greatest performance in that role I know I will ever see, I wondered on my way home, how Light would have been in it.
