I loved the Steve Martin SCETCH!!! " Skits are when the football players dress up like cheerleaders to get a laugh. Sketches are the greatest minds in comedy coming together!" studio 60 on the sunset strip
SNL still needs some work

I love his Tony Bennett impression. The duet with Christina was great.
OOPS - that was the real Tony Bennett!

Maybe it's you?
FF, can you figure out why Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan would appear on an episode hosted by Alec Baldwin? Come on now, think, you can do it.
Steve Martin guested just like Alec did when Steve hosted last time.

Posted: 11/12/06 at 1:26pmI've just been watching the last half hour of the show on dvr. Thirdrowcenter, either you didn't actually watch the show (how could you not have laughed ONCE at The Tony Bennett Show -- "Her toenails looked like a lined up row of Bar-B-Q Fritos"?) or you actually were born without a funny bone.

I haven't really cared for SNL in a while. I know I may be stoned for saying this, but I've never really found Tina Fey funny, and I think that cloud hung over her whole regime for me. Even though she's gone, I hadn't really watched much this season.
That being said, I watched the entire episode and I'm pretty sure that I laughed out loud (LOL!) at least once during each sketch. The humor seemed edgier than I remember it being in a while. I'll definitely be tuning in again next week.

These past two shows have been getting better.SNL has changed directors so I guess the new guy replacing Beth McCarthy is starting to reach his stride.
I found this Alec Baldwin offering probably one of the funniest in awhile! I too found myself laughing out loud quite a bit.

Posted: 11/12/06 at 5:05pmNamo what can I say? I didn't laugh. Past SNL shows with Alec Baldwin were hysterically funny to me but not this one. I find Mad TV much funnier.
