Loved him in "Fiddler" and God he's so good in "Boogie Nights."
Alfred favorites....
"Chocolat"
"Enchanted April"...the 1992 movie version..the whole film was beautiful.
He's wonderful in FRIDA. I thought he deserved the Tony for FIDDLER.
oooooh..I forgot about Frida! Terrific performance.

WAIT -
Who was he in Boogie Nights?
I feel like I remember...but I don't...
He was doing drugs and loving his mix tape while his Chinese boyfriend was setting off fire crackers. Great scene.
You know...all I remember from Boogie Nights is Joanna Gleason. In fact..that may have been the reason I saw the movie in the first place!
Loved him in Raiders of the Lost Ark
How about "Not without my Daughter"?
He is SO GOOD in "Not Without My Daughter". Scary.
I also loved him in "Maverick"...It's a guilty pleasure.

Joanna played Dirk's mother. Love Alfred Molina...he was perfect in the scene in 'Chocolat' when he climbs into the shop window at the end of the film. He was a wonderful Jud Fry in 'Oklahoma' in London yonks ago.
Let's not forget his performance as Joe Orton's homicidal lover in Prick Up Your Ears

OMG - 'Prick Up Your Ears'. I love that film. Molina and Oldman were brilliant and the script was excellent. Just as if Orton had written it himself. On reflection, this is perhaps his best performance. Thanks, The8re for reminding me.
MEF...they remade Destry Rides Again??? When was this and how did I miss this?

I'm seeing him this coming Sunday in THE CHERRY ORCHARD, with Annette Benning - really looking forward to it.
My favorite movie with him in it is ENCHANTED APRIL - love the whole thing (especially Joan Plowright!)
Loved him in Fiddler. We actually invited him to come see our community production of it, of course he didn't, but we saved a seat for him nonetheless- as sort of a joke.
"No! You can't sit there! Thats Alfred's seat!"

Molina is probably a very good actor but he was horribly miscast in the FIDDLER revival.
He was so brilliant in Prick Up Your Ears that for years I couldn't look at him without thinking of that film. What a memorable performance.
