"Ah the city. So many lights you can actually pretend one of them is shining on you."
CLIFF: "There was a cabaret and there was a master of ceremonies and there was a city called Berlin in a country called Germany - and it was the end of the world and I was dancing with Sally Bowles - and we were both fast asleep"

Posted: 5/22/06 at 6:08pmI just can't wait to see all the old characters again...Irina yesss, Francie, Will (i think is coming back) and how cute was that last scene in last week's ep? haha

Posted: 5/22/06 at 6:34pmIrina is my favorite or at least one of my favorites so I am jazzed about her return. And the Francinator. Alison is SO creepy.

Posted: 5/22/06 at 6:37pmhehe "the Francinator" that's funny I absolutely adore Irina! she's one of my fave characters =) I wonder if she'll meet Isabelle this last ep...

Posted: 5/22/06 at 6:52pmTechnically, Irina was the first person to ever meet Isabelle.

Posted: 5/22/06 at 8:02pmVERY true. That was some situation. Bah I hate getting this show so late.

Posted: 5/22/06 at 11:13pmI think they sent the show off in amazing fashion. Much better than the Depserate season finale. J.Js first ABC show is I believe still much superior to his latter.

I watched the show off and on in the first season and sort of had an idea of what was going on throughout the series BUT...
can someone explain what Sydney's daughter was playing with at the end of the episode?
#9re: Alias Series Finale
Posted: 5/22/06 at 11:37pmwell during Sydney's flashbacks they showed it too. it just means shes extremly smart and qualifies as a spy or something? Jack told little sydney-who did it at about isabelle's age-that people in his 'line of work' use it to determine something and that shes a very special girl

Posted: 5/22/06 at 11:40pmIt was also in the Project Christmas episode from season 2. Jack was working on a project (Project Christmas) were they trained children to be future spies, and that was something they used to train (I guess?) them.

It did the trick, although I feel as if it was just all carefully packaged to loyal fans. Irina...I usually adore when Lena Olin is on screen, SpyMommy just didn't do the trick for the finale.
Payton (sp?) just walking in undetected with her guns, killing 12 people and their body guards in under 60 seconds wasn't plausible. Much less the heads of Prophet Five.
Though it makes me wonder, were the flashbacks filmed previously, or were the snippits from the past seasons? I need to pay my dvds a visit. :)
I'll admit, I got all emotion when Tom died. I don't know why, through out the season I didn't like his character all that much, but awwww to the T/R ship.
I got my Sark. David Anders on my television set was blisssss. :) Okay I shall stop now.
How cliche was the ending, when Vaughn was like "Go put away your toys." I was just like...crazy wooden blocks! We've got a Project Xmas Baby at tote.
And itty bitty little baby Jack. And Jack diiiiies.
I love me some Victor Garber. Jack Bristow diiiiiies. Okay, I am going to stop typing now because I'm probably sounding like a incoherent mess.

Posted: 5/23/06 at 10:29pmI sound like a incoherent mess. I thought Irina died to quick and easy for a person like her. Loved Sark, his "You shot me!" made me laugh SO hard. Oh bless him. Loved the line "You may have beaten death, Arvin. But you couldn't beat me". I was a mess when Jack was telling her to leave. I called the ending it was just too predictable with Isablle but with a family line like hers It wouldnt be unexpected. Sloane being stuck forver and "Nadia" leaving him was chilling and perfect. I am happy overall.

Posted: 5/23/06 at 10:37pmI thought it was a good finale, overall I'm pretty happy with how it ended. and yeah I was crying like baby when Jack was telling Syd to leave lol I reaally wanted Sloane to die though dammit. I love Sark! He's one of my fave characters and I was happy to see Francie in the flashback. Irina's death and that entire situation happened way too quickly, I don't know I just was expecting more I guess...Why did Irina have to die? argg anyway I loved the end credits "Thanks for 5 incredible years" that was nice =)
