Posted: 1/30/06 at 7:16pmywiw, i'm not a howie fan either...well, maybe sorta. but with regard to the money he's spent, i totally agree with drum's analysis. infrastructure has to be rebuilt from time to time. i think he's looking towards long term and a lot of people are thinking short term. now, the fact that i think he drives moderates away every time he opens his mouth is neither here nor there. the kind of spending he's doing now is the same kinds ot things the gop has been doing since his highness, lord karl the white, got some taste of power. as a mouthpiece i think he helps us more, but on these practical matters, he'll do your party real long term good.

As a citizen of the United States of America I urge you to vote for filibuster on Judge Samuel Alito, Jr. His conservative views and narrow-mindedness will send this country spiriling downward. Many Americans have fought for and died for the rights he will take away! It is your duty to protect the rights we have and keep this country a place where freedom is a word we charish. no, it's a link that takes you to the official brdlwyr exposed briefs site.
it's the official (internet version) senate record showing the roll call vote on cloture. it shows the senators, their votes, their home states and if you ask it nice enough, their favorite ice cream.
