Paint It Black, The Rolling Stones

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Love both of those and may I also add for your consideration
Bob Seger "Old Time Rock and Roll"

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

"Sympathy For The Devil"....ya just can't top that one.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

This is like Lay's Potato Chips for me. I love all the songs you've already mentioned. What about "House of the Holy," or "Kashmir" by Led Zepplin? Or "Love Her Madly" by The Doors? Or "Salt of the Earth" by the Stones?

You're absolutely right, katy, but I just picked my favorite song of the moment. Paint it Black got me a speeding ticket a few weeks ago, and it's still my current fav.

I like that interpretation of the question, Shameless. In which case I'll go with Roadhouse Blues by the Doors. At the moment, it's the song that'll get me up and moving.

It's nearly impossible for me to even narrow it down, but here are the first few things that popped into my head:

"I Still Haven't Found What I am Looking For" by U2
"Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2
"Pride (In the Name of Love)" by U2

Notice a pattern?

They're a pretty decent little band.

I feel like I should add 3 non-U2 songs now to balance the Force.

"Hurricane" by Bob Dylan
"For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield
"Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
