Mine is "Five O'Clock World" by the Vogues
Paint It Black, The Rolling Stones
Love both of those and may I also add for your consideration
Bob Seger "Old Time Rock and Roll"
"Sympathy For The Devil"....ya just can't top that one.
This is like Lay's Potato Chips for me. I love all the songs you've already mentioned. What about "House of the Holy," or "Kashmir" by Led Zepplin? Or "Love Her Madly" by The Doors? Or "Salt of the Earth" by the Stones?
You're absolutely right, katy, but I just picked my favorite song of the moment. Paint it Black got me a speeding ticket a few weeks ago, and it's still my current fav.
I like that interpretation of the question, Shameless. In which case I'll go with Roadhouse Blues by the Doors. At the moment, it's the song that'll get me up and moving.
You Can't Always get What You Want, by the Stones
Stairway to Heaven...always makes me smile and brings back good memories.
Sounds like there is a great story there Boobs!
right now it's "don't fear the reaper" by blue oyster cult but it changes all the time
Just reminds me of summers in Seaside Heights and the boardwalk....the smell of the boards....the sounds of laughter....the ocean....fod frying..and young love.
It's nearly impossible for me to even narrow it down, but here are the first few things that popped into my head:
"I Still Haven't Found What I am Looking For" by U2
"Sunday Bloody Sunday" by U2
"Pride (In the Name of Love)" by U2
Notice a pattern?
Gee... do you like U2?
They're a pretty decent little band.
I feel like I should add 3 non-U2 songs now to balance the Force.
"Hurricane" by Bob Dylan
"For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield
"Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Piece Of My Heart - Janice Joplin
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Beatles
GAH! Patronus!! Why's you have to bring up U2? My list just got a little bigger.
"Even Better Than The Real Thing" U2
"Who's Gonna RIde Your Wild Horses?" U2
"One" U2
'Thunder Road' by Bruce Springsteen.
'You Better, You Bet' - The Who
oh hurricane! how could i forget that song!
"Killer Queen"- Queen
"Won't Get Fooled Again"- The Who
"Another Brick in the Wall Part 2"- Pink Floyd
"Sweet Emtion" and "Dream On"- Aerosmith
