I'm 41 years old, and long story short, I never got the opportunity to go to college immediately after high school due to among other things, lack of familial support. Now the stars are finally aligned, and I'm a sophomore, in Denver. When I was in high school, I always wanted to major in Theatre, and now at my age, I have decided to go into something more realistcally conducive to a steady job.
However, I am dong a triple major, Spanish, English(writing) and Theatre, toward becoming a teacher (I thought, "why not? I have nothing to lose, and will still fulfill at least HALF of my dream, which was to study theatre") I know that at my age, opportunities will be even more limited, but heck...if something comes along, I will give it a try.
My question is; Is it too late for me? I am in no way expecting to be "famous" or get leads on Broadway, but this is something I love and have always wanted to do. Even if I just do bit parts on some regional theatre, I'll be loving it. However, will I get only raised eyebrows when casting directors look at my resume and see that I barely have any experience and a recent college graduate at 40 something? Anyway, thanks so much for reading this!

It's never too late! You'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't try. And realize, there are just as many roles out there for 41-year-olds as there are for 20-year-olds. And many actors in your age brackett have changed their career path or decided to start a family, so if anything, you'll have less competition.
