I still contend that momentum is a load of BS. If momentum counted for anything the Yankees would have swept.
Yeow! I don't think I can take tomorrow's game! All these games going past midnight w/ classes in the morning! Go Sox! I'm proud of you boys!!!

If the Yankees lose...I hope Brian Cashman and Joe Torre just clock Steinbrenner over the head and tie him in a broom closet for the winter. I hate the way he's been sticking his fingers into the club more and more. Cashman isn't perfect (the Weaver/Lilly trade was horrid), but by golly he knows more about this than Steinbrenner does.
ANYONE BUT YANKEES!!!!!

Right. Because the Yankees are evil.
YAWN. I've heard it all before. Bo-ring. And if you want evil, last year's champs qualify pretty nicely. Loria is horrid. Steinbrenner may be a bastard, but at least he isn't complicit with Selig to boot.
I'm just grumpy because I am a twins fan. If it comes down to a BoSox Cardinals World Series I want to see the BoSox win though it's a tough choice. If its Yanks and Cards then I want the Cards to win. It's nothing personal against New York but it's much more fun when you have grudges. Especially when you are rooting against a team as good as the Yankees and you get to see them get beaten.

And the Astros are chopped liver? They're ahead in their series, after all. If the BoSox go forward, I hope Clemens beats them 3 times. Just to establish the old point about his "twilight" again.
Nah just never was a fan of the Astros. My theory relies on the Cards making a comeback.

Actually, the Cards are normally my favorite NL team. And I won't mind, really, if they advance. But the Astros have such a miserable history I'm hoping they make the World Series, at least.
The Red Sox really are whiny sometimes. At least they've won a playoff series before this year.
