No one expects you to be a perfect dancer right out of the gate. That's why it would be a class at a camp. You're not doing classes at SAB.
Take beginning ballet and never stop. I have said in these threads again and again (God, I sound like somebody's father. Hardly.) to take ballet, ballet and then more ballet.
Ballet teaches much more than just dance. It teaches discipline and body awareness.
Start with a simple stretch class if that's all you can get where you live. Strength and flexibility go a long way. What happens after camp? I'll tell you. You work up a class of your own and use a chair as a barre and do it yourself to keep the muscles pliable. That's what.
Don't be down on yourself for what you haven't got or don't have access to at the present time. The world is full of A-holes who are more than willing if not utterly eager, to do that for you. Find your strengths and work from them.
And for most principal roles singing and acting are more important than dancing anyway.
