DG, that's who I thought the thread was about when I read the title.
I thought it was gonna be about the dubya-onians, too.
Or possibly the Hiltons.

Flitty - the Hiltons don't cover enough ground to trump the Bushes.
Figuratively, not literally, of course.
That the Bushes get my vote was never in question. But I *did* also think the Hiltons could be a possible candidate for the topic... I guess it's really more a "hate" vs mere "disgust" differentiation in the end.
Relax, everyone, the thread title is the title of the documentary. I didn't make it up.
i was reading about these Drew people. i don't think they should go to jail but i do think what they did was seriously f-cked up.

Oh, you're a child! That explains everything.
And good luck with the burying your head in sand thing.
"And, I am not a grown gay male so I don't know why I should be paying attention to anything about this family."
Why even post something like that? Just to prove you like to live in ignorance?

Neddyfrank's mere existance proves he lives in ignorance.
"And, I am not a grown gay male so I don't know why I should be paying attention to anything about this family."
And unless you educate yourself in these matters, you will never grow into an adult - gay or not.

Well, he said he COULD care less, so that means he cares some, right?

If you are a jew, do you pay attention to every single hate crime against the Jewish people? Do you educate yourself about every single anti-semetic group or person or protest?
Most people don't because there are too many to keep count of, same goes for this.
This family does not deserve my attention at all. I saw what they did and was mortified, like any sane human being would be, but I did not take the time to educate myself about them. Why would I waste my time educating myself about these stupid, stupid people?
That would just be giving them the attention they want and why the hell would I give it to them?
They want more people to learn about what they do and to know about their existence. That is great if you guys really care about these people and what they are doing, but I am not going to give these people ANY of my time.
Speaking of ignorance...
If you actually read my post and read what my post was in response to you have understood where the statement about being a grown gay man came from.
Phyllis Rogers Stone- I think it is hilarious that you feel the need to respond to most posts that I make with a comment that you attempt to make rude/witty/or obnoxious. I mean you are thirty something years old, living in Chicago and you spend your time trying to upset other people on a message board.
But I guess if I was also in my thirties and all I amounted to becoming was a receptionist for a PR Company I would also be an angry person. What a life to be proud of!

Oh neddioca, I don't work for a PR company. It's a consulting firm. And I couldn't (note the negative, brainiac) care less what you think of my choices. Just because you work for La Jolla or Old Globe or whatever theatre with whom you got in trouble for posting too much stuff on here doesn't elevate you to some level of superiority, no more so than when you confuse thinking knowing a bunch of dates about when things opened means you know a lot about theatre. You are a drooling ignoramous and ain't nothing ever gonna change that, sport.
And I'm not trying to upset you. I think you're quite content in your ignorance and stupidity. I'm sure that empty little head of yours sleeps just fine at night.
I'd be awfully careful about what sort of stones I hurled about how I choose to spend my time on this message board. You're the person who tried to start a smear campgain against a poster who never did anything to you, but because you of all people thought thought his posts made him sound stupid and you hated that he posts a lot about Xanadu. The great irony is that I'm pretty sure English isn't his first language and I'm pretty sure it is yours and yet your posts aren't exactly the Mensa material you seem to thnk they are.
Speaking of Xanadu, whatever did happen to the other name you had, the one you created because you got in trouble at your big important job? Who is really the blight on the board here?
So think whatever you want about me dear boy, but when I think of you I'll always think about how you are the person who to took the time to start a thread on BWW about how your work was being evacuated during those recent southern California fires. If you were capable of critical thought, I'd suggest you think about what that says about you.

I an very very sorry. Receptionist at a PR Firm, Consulting Firm - it's still a receptionist to me!

And I will always think of you as the person who took the time to post on that thread and tell me that you hope I have no internet. I will also think of you as the poster that likes to create fake screen names ('Lil Miss Lynch) to piss people off!
Also, are you talking about TapTapTapioca?
I only had to use that screen name because another poster got hold of my personal contact information so it was suggested that I temporarily stopped posting on this screen name. Now that the poster is gone - it is all good. But thanks for asking, sport!
And I am very happy to hear that you chose what stones to hurl on a message board. I could actually care less what stones I hurl, I am not looking for friends or a soul-mate on here.

"I an very very sorry. Receptionist at a PR Firm, Consulting Firm - it's still a receptionist to me!"
How rude, snobby, childish, condescending, elitist and holier-than-thou is that?

Is there a difference between the two?
It's your whole attitude about someone being a receptionist in general that is disgusting.
Case in Point: "But I guess if I was also in my thirties and all I amounted to becoming was a receptionist for a PR Company I would also be an angry person. What a life to be proud of!"

Well maybe I would not be so condescending and critical of his job if he wasn't as rude and condescending and critical of nearly every post I made.
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/16/07
Didn't Fabrizio figure who you were from your screen name and all the stuff you posted about your job? Doesn't that mean other people could? Or already have?
I an very very sorry. Receptionist at a PR Firm, Consulting Firm - it's still a receptionist to me
So, really, what's your beef with receptionists? You can turn that nose up at me all you want, but seriously, you'd think I was a kiddie porn filmmaker the way you keep throwing the word receptionist around. I'm sure the other receptionists, temps, waiters, etc on this board who are older than you will love to know what you think of the proletariats (dictionary.com will tell you what it means). Then again, there are actually people who think a person's worth has nothing to do with what they do for a living. Clearly you don't. Bam. If I ever doubted my initial impression of you this lovely exchange simply proven I was right all along - you are just a douche. And really really ignorant. Not in the slang way people use nowadays when they really mean "asshole," but the bona fide old school definition of the word.
What exactly do you do at your San Diego theatre job? Whatever it is, it must be something really special. Congrats on peaking at 21! As Che sang to Eva, "Don't look down, it's a long long way to fall."
And it was L'il Miss Lynch, by the way. The apostrophe has to go after the l ... oh, never mind. I bet you sure play a mean pinball.
Actually, the apostrophe goes after I, as in LI'L ABNER.

That's right! There's hubris for you. Tell neddy he can find the definition of hubris at dictionary.com, too.
Some of you people could do a lot worse than my job, too. They leave me alone most of the time, they pay me very well, and I started there with 22 vacation days (and that doesn't include holidays). But like I said, it's my job. It's not who I am. And anyone who matters knows that I leave a rather fulfilling life.
I wonder if it's time to examine why neddy felt the need to point out I was in Chicago. Should I assume that leaving in America's Second City is somehow inferior to living in San Diego (I don't know what its nickmame is. Sorry)?

Actually, I used it three times.
No actually that isn't what happened with him, but I don't see the use in posting the whole story because then other posters could do the same thing...
I actually have nothing against receptionists. I just think it is funny that you are so critical of me calling me stupid, ignorance, and telling me I will amount to nothing (and you can't deny that one since I saved the post) when all that you have amounted to is a receptionist at a "consultant firm". I believe that would make you a Hypocrite.
Edit: Why did I mention Chicago? Exactly because it is America's Second City! There is so much to do but yet you are spending your time responding to all my posts.
