If you are a jew, do you pay attention to every single hate crime against the Jewish people? Do you educate yourself about every single anti-semetic group or person or protest?

Most people don't because there are too many to keep count of, same goes for this.

This family does not deserve my attention at all. I saw what they did and was mortified, like any sane human being would be, but I did not take the time to educate myself about them. Why would I waste my time educating myself about these stupid, stupid people?

That would just be giving them the attention they want and why the hell would I give it to them?

They want more people to learn about what they do and to know about their existence. That is great if you guys really care about these people and what they are doing, but I am not going to give these people ANY of my time.

Phyllis Rogers Stone- I think it is hilarious that you feel the need to respond to most posts that I make with a comment that you attempt to make rude/witty/or obnoxious. I mean you are thirty something years old, living in Chicago and you spend your time trying to upset other people on a message board.

But I guess if I was also in my thirties and all I amounted to becoming was a receptionist for a PR Company I would also be an angry person. What a life to be proud of!

Oh neddioca, I don't work for a PR company. It's a consulting firm. And I couldn't (note the negative, brainiac) care less what you think of my choices. Just because you work for La Jolla or Old Globe or whatever theatre with whom you got in trouble for posting too much stuff on here doesn't elevate you to some level of superiority, no more so than when you confuse thinking knowing a bunch of dates about when things opened means you know a lot about theatre. You are a drooling ignoramous and ain't nothing ever gonna change that, sport.

I'd be awfully careful about what sort of stones I hurled about how I choose to spend my time on this message board. The great irony is that I'm pretty sure English isn't his first language and I'm pretty sure it is yours and yet your posts aren't exactly the Mensa material you seem to thnk they are.

I only had to use that screen name because another poster got hold of my personal contact information so it was suggested that I temporarily stopped posting on this screen name. Now that the poster is gone - it is all good. But thanks for asking, sport!

So, really, what's your beef with receptionists? You can turn that nose up at me all you want, but seriously, you'd think I was a kiddie porn filmmaker the way you keep throwing the word receptionist around. I'm sure the other receptionists, temps, waiters, etc on this board who are older than you will love to know what you think of the proletariats (dictionary.com will tell you what it means). Then again, there are actually people who think a person's worth has nothing to do with what they do for a living. Clearly you don't. Bam. Some of you people could do a lot worse than my job, too. They leave me alone most of the time, they pay me very well, and I started there with 22 vacation days (and that doesn't include holidays). But like I said, it's my job. It's not who I am. And anyone who matters knows that I leave a rather fulfilling life.

I wonder if it's time to examine why neddy felt the need to point out I was in Chicago. Should I assume that leaving in America's Second City is somehow inferior to living in San Diego (I don't know what its nickmame is. Sorry)?

No actually that isn't what happened with him, but I don't see the use in posting the whole story because then other posters could do the same thing...

I actually have nothing against receptionists. I just think it is funny that you are so critical of me calling me stupid, ignorance, and telling me I will amount to nothing (and you can't deny that one since I saved the post) when all that you have amounted to is a receptionist at a "consultant firm". I believe that would make you a Hypocrite.
