I would never share pictures or information about my family with girls who are so mean to me. I don't blame her at all for not connecting with them in that way. It's not really any of their business. I mean I understand if they're friends but they're not. They don't seem to ever understand the cultural differences between them and Natasha. Besides, everytime Natasha HAS talked about her family, she cries. Obviously it's an emtional thing for her and she probably doesn't want to discuss that with the other girls.

Renee is meaner than the girls in my high school. That has to be saying something.

Renee's husband is living on the beach or whatever and her mother is taking care of their child. Now, I'm not passing judgement on her family situation, but I'm not convinced there is anything that qualifies her to be so judgemental about another person's family or character. Were they caught selling smack to teens? Are they displaced Katrina victims? Running from the Mexican Mafia? Everyone has their secrets and neither Renee, Jaslene, or Dionne are entitled to know everything about Natasha. That whole business at the club and at the panel made me lose a lot of respect for Dionne and Jaslene. I didn't have much respect for Renee to begin with, honestly. Maybe she's ok in real life, but from what has been revealed on the show, I don't care for her at all.

Of all of them tho, Renee has been the most honest if you think about it though. She has never once said anything other than the fact she is there to win. She's not there to make friends, or whatnot, she's there with one purpose.

So I respect that, despite any misgivings I feel about her and "mean"ness

There's something not quite right with Natasha.. her ego and/or attitude might be genuine, but it's off-putting. I'm not saying the others are or are not jealous of her (I think there are a lot of contributing factors) - but over the course of the series, she's had, what I would call, a slightly delusional take on events.

Dionne did very little for me. And Jaslene, as the judges pointed out, is pretty much a "one hit wonder" She'd also not do to well in the P.R. department giving interviews.

Renee is the most poised - and yes, comes across older. But so what?

I don't think any of the contestants are SUPERmodel material, but they all can and probably will have decent enough careers

Renee is younger than Jaslene, if I remember correctly. I'm fairly sure Renee is 20- maybe 21. And I think Natasha's "fakeness" is just a result of her being in a foreign country without having a full grasp on the language. It's better to smile and try to be polite than frown or scowl. I'm sure if I were in Russia, I'd be smiling too. Even though she's bitchy, I like Renee- she has taken amazing pictures. I was glad to see Dionne go! Especially with all of her whining about "I don't dance!" Boo hoo.

well especially in the beginning of the show, whenever Natasha got criticism, she would play it off as compliments... and she really thinks that she is hot sh*t, especially when she didn't win the acting challenge, then complained that people don't respect her or her family....

I think it goes beyond disrespect--they don't believe her family even exists!

And i know dozens of actors who when they receive notes, have a boatload of reasons why they did the thing that got them criticized--I think Natasha just makes lemonade regardless of her sugar supply. It's not delusional, it's spin.

I don't think Renee is all that pretty either--I just keep thinking Kay Lenz with a budget.

I would give Renee points for "honesty" if she weren't so tactless and hypocritical. Like when she sat on Whitney's bed and asked her, "Do you honestly think there will ever be a plus-sized model on the cover of Vogue?" The I'm-just-being-honest thing doesn't always fly with me, especially when used as a defense for mean-spirited behavior. Jaslene tried it last night as well, and it just comes across as some self-important righteousness to me. I mean, if someone told me I was ugly, stupid, and a liar, and I acted a bit offended by the remark, a simple "well, I'm just being honest" is not going to get any respect from me. It's one thing to admit being there strictly for competition, but you have to follow up with that rather than simply use it as an easy excuse to avoid the conflict you created (and you see this on every competition reality show where contestants are forced to live together). Renee has treated some of the girls like her friends (Brittany, Jaslene, and even at one point, Jael) and then regurgitates her "I'm not here to make friends" line when she pisses someone off.

But for execution of the honesty defense, nobody tops Jade: "This is not America's Next Top Best Friend!"

Natasha's making critique sound like a compliment obviously only helped her. She still learned from it all, improved, and kept her spirit high.
And of course she thinks she's hot ****. They all think they're hot ****. If I were competing on America's Next Top Model, I'd think I was hot ****. We can't be TOO hard on her for that.

Renee is 21???? She looks a lot older.

Dionne did look older, but Renee looks significantly older compared to the other two girls. I don't actually see that as such a bad thing but apparantly it is. I understand why, but I don't not like Renee because she looks older, let's just put it that way.

Just to clarify, according to the Top Model website, Renee and Jaslene are 20 and Natasha is 21.

I'm not a huge Natasha fan, but I think she could pull off a win....
