at this point, the actual performances of the night no longer matter (unless it is a rel wreck)...the fan base will vote their favorites for hours...I am happy that Anthony has done so well and lasted so long

Ehh I'm starting to get bored with American Idol. I just wish Carrie or Bo would hurry up and win this thing.
But I will say that no one did insanely well or poor this evening. However, I believe Anthony or Vonzell will be going home. I say Vonzell because although she is a consistent performer, she has been in the bottom three after giving awesome performances. This week was just okay for her, I think. I hope she doesn't go before Anthony, but que sera, sera.
Does anyone know what actually happened to Vonzell? I was just curious because my satellite was in and out so i missed a lot.
But overall, I'm just kind of upset because I don't think that Simon gives Vonzell the praise that she deserves, and he most definately does not give the criticism that Carrie deserves.
No, I don't think they mentioned what happened with Vonzell.
I was SO happy that Bo did a Travis Tritt song. Ever since the top 12, I've been saying that Bo needed to do one of his songs. I think he could have chosen a better one, though. I kept hearing Take It Easy in my head. I think I like Tritt's cover of it even better than the Eagles original.
I didn't watch but I want to vote, so if someone could help me out by giving me the number for each contestant I know the 1-866-IDOLS......but then what??????
At any rate, I think that if she gets to do country music(assuming that she might win and have to do some kind of pop album) and does the "Opry" and CMT thing, that she can really excell......
Carrie doesn't have to win this competition to have a successful recording carrier. It seems almost better if you don't win. She would be able to release an album that she really wants to release rather than an album that 19 Entertainment and Simon Fuller tells her to release.
