That letter is brilliant. I only wish it was about one of Perry's own films, and can not be read as another excuse that Hollywood doesn't want a black leading man.

Why on earth would they show a film about a cop chasing a serial killer on a flight where you can't choose to turn it off? (I HATE those flights where there are just a few screens! #spoiled) Of course there are kids present!

Oh and BET posted a link to one of these articles about the new Tyler Perry movie and their fans went APESH*T. They kept saying over and over that he's the voice of what's really happening out there or that people are just jealous and that STDs are the result of sinful behavior, etc. etc.
