Andy Williams kissed Ann Coulter telling her proudly he is a Republican. I read this today . To include this in any paper would signify a very slow news day. It was in the news or post I am not sure which one. Good old Andy sung the first Kander & Ebb song I ever heard "My Coloring Book"
He is of course older than dirt . You have to admit, they would make a great couple. To go from Claudine Longet To AC. Yipes

I never could understand why people feel a person as an artist and their politics matters. Who cares if Andy is a Republican?I loved so many of Charelton Heston's movies. I enjoy Kelsey Grammar,Clint Eastwood, and Arnold Schwartzengger films as well.Why does someone's personal life matter? I enjoy Woody Allen films and Roman Polanski films as well.Does not change the fact that they make damn good films.
I know people who refuse to listen to Streisand because of her politics. People like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly will not watch George CLooney,Tim Robbins, or Sean Penn films because of their politics. By far the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Many will not listen to Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young,Dixie Chicks, or Bon Jovie all because of who they supported in the last election.
So, I could give a rat's ass about an artist's politics or their personal lives. Having said that, Andy discovered the Osmonds (we'll forgive him for that one)

I agree but you mention Republican to most on this board & you get a knee jerk negative reaction
I loathe Strisand's politic buts she is a great entertainer with mountains of talent & that is why I am a fan of her music & movie roles.
