So this is my first ever musical and most people doing the musical know that. In most of the scenes I am with this girl. Lets call her..... Pearl. Yeah, Pearl. I have always been nice to this girl but she always makes me feel stupid. It's like she looks down on me and thinks I am just this stupid person that doesn't know anything. We were in our "clumps" doing a dance and our clump was confused because we got mixed up in the dance. I knew how to do it but Pearl all of a sudden became the boss and was telling us "No just do it the way we are doing it -- the other group is doing it wrong" come to find out Pearl was teaching us the wrong steps. Another incident was when we were in the theatre and I was comming out my row with my friends to go onstage and I said excuse me and she said "No! -- wait" (because she was putting her things away) she took about 10 secs. and couldn't put all of it in her bag and she said "You know what, whateva! forget it" and threw her stuff on the ground and stormed off as if I did something.
I dunno it just seems that she doesn't take me seriously at all and always catching attitudes with me when I seriously didn't do anything. I always was nice to this girl. And not to mention she think she is *always* right. It's either her way or the high way. But she doesn't treat everyone like that though only some. At first I thought, Ok maybe she is having a bad day but she is seriously treating me like I am a 6 year old boy.
I dunno what to do. Should I confront her, because we are in alot of scenes together and I was wondering if I should or not because then it would be awkward. Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions? I have tried the counting to ten thing but I am seriously going to get in a argument soon.

Leave it at that. Your job is to give the best preformance possible, and she shouldn't get in the way of that.

I would approach her and let her know what you feel about the situation. If she just gives you major attitude back and doesn't listen, then maybe you need to take it as far as talking to your director. Maybe he can have a talk with her, and if she continues to be rude and condescending even after that, then her behavior needs to be constantly watched and she should be put on some sort of probation.
Or all us Broadway World people can gather and beat up on her

ignore her. don't let her push you around. be civil, be polite and professional but ignore her. don't let her get into your head and ruin your enjoyment of your experience in the show. if you can speak to the director and point out her behavior, fine but there is no guarantee that that will change anything. she sounds peeved and unhappy that she is in a smaller part than she thinks she deserves. she is trying to get your attention. just turn your head and don't even look at her.
